Laurelie Martinson

Laurelie Martinson is a management communication specialist with 25 years of experience working for industry, government and community agencies throughout western Canada.   Her behaviour and communication centered practices carve a pathway for managers to achieve results in both hostile and well-functioning environments.  She has worked with organizations to help employees maintain personal well-being in the wake of organizational change.

 

She is a former instructor of Management Communications at the University of Regina and also developed a model of Generational Addiction and Dependency for Saskatchewan Social Services.  After decades of leading group therapy sessions on recovery and providing individual counseling and management coaching, she is launching a new YouTube channel (Schooling Fish) to reach more people in more places.

 

Laurelie studied at the University of Saskatchewan and continues her graduate studies in Ministry Leadership at Alberta Bible College.

 

In 2017, partnering with her sister, Jeanne Martinson, she began the series “Lessons from Downton Abbey”. The first book, Leadership Lessons from Downton Abbey was released in 2017, the second book, Change Management Lessons from Downton Abbey, was released the summer of 2018. The third book in the series, solo authored by Laurelie, Relationship Lessons From Downton Abbey. will be released winter 2018.
