Heather is an executive coach, positive intelligence coach, educational leader, and founder of Bold and Brave Coaching. She is the author of “Lead By Design: A 30-Day Leadership Journey” and a public speaker. Before becoming a Certified Executive Coach with her Associate Certified Coaching (ACC) designation from the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Positive Intelligence Coaching designation (CPQC), she worked in education for over 28 years and has held several leadership roles during that time. Currently she is working as a High School Administrator. She obtained a Masters in Educational Leaders and Administration and a Masters in Counselling Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Heather’s passion for coaching led her to further her education and she obtained her Graduate Certified Executive Coaching certification at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in June 2020. She went on to receive her Certified Positive Intelligence Coach designation through the Positive Intelligence Institute in August 2021. Heather has worked in the field of education for over 28 years and has held several leadership positions within the Education realm. She has always had a passion for supporting others on their leadership journey.
As a coach, Heather offers one-on-one coaching services, group coaching sessions as well as facilitated workshops for organizations. She has been trained to administer and debrief the EQ-i 2.0 (leadership assessment tool) and provide one-on-one coaching, facilitate Personality Dimensions workshops within organizations, and facilitate the Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness program with organizations. Heather is passionate about sharing her expertise and is available for speaking engagements.
Heather is a wife, mother, educator, author, speaker and life and leadership coach. Her passion to support new and aspiring leaders has always guided her in her work with clients in order to help them become the leader that they strive to be. Her home is in Sherwood Park, Alberta with her husband, daughter, two dogs and their cat. Heather is the chair of the Alberta chapter for Women In Leadership Foundation and a mentor for new and aspiring leaders in the Women In Leadership National Mentorship Program. She is also the chair for the Women In Leadership Elk Island Catholic Teachers.
