We work with authors through a five-step process:
- Editing Rounds – to take your book from idea to a marketable, meaningful, readable manuscript. This includes the four levels of developmental editing, copy editing, line editing, and proofreading.
- Physical Design and Production – to add internal design and formatting, professional front/back/spine cover design, and ISBN assignment, to create a completed book in print.
- Amazon Global Marketing Reach – to make the book available in Kindle eBook and print through Amazon platforms around the world.
- Production and Global Distribution – to reach booksellers in Canada, the UK, and the USA for eBook, hardcover, and paperback book sales.
- Audiobook Production – to find the voice for your book, work with narrators and producers to make the book available on key audiobook platforms around the world such as iTunes and Audible.
Other Services
Editing Services: We work with individual authors who wish to have their manuscript professionally edited with the goal of submitting to an agent or larger publisher. Our senior editor (Jeanne Martinson) is a member of Editors Canada, and is the only editor who works on these projects. (Charged on a project basis.)
Book Coaching Services: Sometimes authors wish to self-publish, but simply do not know the process, and to honest, don’t want to learn the process to publish just one book. We guide authors through the book project process, focusing on the elements they wish to target – editing, platform loading, KDP (Amazon) platform set up, global distribution, or marketing. (Charged on a hourly basis.)
